
The Anasazi (Ancient Ones) were cliff-dwelling Native Americans. Ancestors to Pueblo Indians, they built their homes under protective rock overhangs.

This three-level building was home to six families. To the left is a grain tower.

This is a door. They were pretty small to keep out the elements.

This door is t-shaped to help elderly enter.

Uh... when did I say that? I said we would VISIT - I don't want to live in one of those houses! But the mountains.... warmer temperatures... hmmm..maybe!

But look at the weather IN FEBRUARY!!!
I wonder if they need any chicken farmers there. Not likely.
If we move across the border then all the American history I am teaching my kids might actually be useful.
