More pictures of...guess who?

Don't you wish you had a teddy bear this big?

Two Pieters

C-note behaved very well during Tasha and Blake's wedding reception.

"What's that Marigold?"
Smiles and giggles.

Patches keeping watch.

Daddy's first baby-bathing experience!

The afterbath. Thanks Abe and Amy for the cute towel!

Eleven Pounds of Muscle

Here's the photos I promised. These were taken when Callum was just NINE days old! See how strong this little man is:

Eight Weeks Old

"Sometimes a mother can look into the face of her child and be struck to the very core of her being with love. The emotion is so intense it almost hurts with a sweet sting that brings tears to her eyes. Mother-love must be one of the strongest feelings possible."
--Christa Kinde

Never have I experienced emotions such as these. When our son smiles at me, responds to my voice with his little voice, even just hearing him breathe...it's an amazing, indescribable, profound feeling that arises within me. That God would entrust us with such a precious gift, another human being...it astounds me.

Little boy, big chair.

We are always amazed at how well Callum can hold up his head. He's a strong little guy!Basically from his second week of life he was able to push his upper body off the floor with his arms. I'll put those pictures in my next post.

Sleep Time

There's something about sleeping babies that always makes you go "Awwwww...."

Smiling in his sleep...

We heard Callum's first giggle yesterday!
"This is my serious face."
Callum's lovin' the swing!

Daddy and C-note

I was just playing around with my macro lens. It's amazing what it can capture. Callum's eyes are such a cool colour. These pictures actually don't quite do them justice.
P.S. It's no easy task taking closeup pictures of a squirming baby!

Sooo happy

A rare moment in the life of Mr. Crankypants! ;)
