According to Deanna's bird book, we deduce it to be a red-tailed hawk. Do you agree? She saw some of those at Bethany's on the weekend too...At our house, we only see chickadees, finches, cardinals, blue jays and juncos.... so far....
That sounds about right! He has seen them in the fields over the summer as well as the odd heron. There are swans one road over during the summer too!
